Chicken Shawarma


  • Marinade ingredients
  • 2 lbs Chicken breast cut in strips
  • 1 cup Greek Yogurt
  • 1 tbs Ground coriander
  • 1 tbs Curry
  • 1 tbs Ground Cardamom
  • 1 tbs Ground pepper
  • 1 tbs Salt
  • 1 tbs Paprika
  • ½ tbs Cayenne pepper
  • 1 tbs Cumin
  • Olive oil
  • Pinch of cinnamon


Place on baking sheet 375 until cooked. Drain excess liquid and broil on low until golden.


I served with roasted peppers and onion. Fresh cucumbers, mint and tomatoes.
You can eat on a bed of greens or on a pita
I made a simple dressing with tahini, lemon and a pinch of salt
